Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) is the strategic analysis
of business processes and planning and implementation for their improvement. BPR is a multi-disciplinary subject
that IT can
support in many ways. Software can be used to help with gathering
information about the current business organization. Workflow and
process analysis tools, business modeling and simulation, on-line
analytic processing (OLAP) and data mining all have a role to play.

model analysis and design and implementation to general IT
