A statewide three-year time-and-materials contract for the Illinois Department of Human Services, awarded in March 2000, is currently the largest contract Novanis has ever won. Services provided include first and second-level help desk; installation, maintenance and operation of LAN/WANs; connection of department sites to one another, outside agencies and the public. Over 2,000 workstations and 500 servers, predominantly IBM and Compaq, are being serviced at nearly 300 DHS locations statewide-with a 4-hour, 7x24 on-site response window.
